The long awaited government regulations on rearview cameras have been delayed again. Manufacturing Business Technology relates an AP news story reporting that new regulations may be delayed until the year 2015. The same report discusses the addtional costs backup cameras will add to new vehicles and adds, “in the meantime, absent regulations, the safety administration [NHTSA] said it planned to update its list of recommended safety features to encourage consumers to purchase cars with the cameras.”
